Getting to the Mission Ranch Resort in Carmel
If you are traveling from San Francisco, Oakland or the San Jose area, take Hwy 101 south to the 156 West (Monterey Peninsula) which turns into Hwy 1 south at Castroville. Continue south on Hwy 1 to Carmel. At the fourth stop light, turn right onto Rio Road. Turn left just past the Carmel Mission Basilica onto Lasuen Drive. Lasuen Dr. winds around behind the Mission, after which you'll see a white picket fence. The driveway for the Mission Ranch is on the left-hand side of the street.
If you are traveling from Los Angeles, take Hwy 101 north to Salinas. In Salinas take the Sanborn Road off ramp (Monterey Peninsula) to Hwy 68 west. Hwy 68 will turn into Hwy 1 south and continue to Carmel. At the fourth stop light, turn right onto Rio Road. Turn left just past the Carmel Mission Basilica onto Lasuen Drive. Lasuen Dr. winds around behind the Mission, after which you'll see a white picket fence. The driveway for the Mission Ranch is on the left-hand side of the street.
